By taking possession of a park gate card, you are agreeing that you, your family members, and any guests will abide by the rules of the park. The River Oaks River Park is for use by authorized property owners only. The River Park closes at 10 p.m. All people and belongings should be out of the park by this time. The major rules are listed here:

Gate - Do not prop gate open; it will break the motor.
Keyed Access - Do not share your gate card with any unauthorized person-this is a violation of the park rules and can result in your losing access to the park. Guests must be accompanied by authorized property owners. Lost gate cards will be deprogrammed.
Parking - Park in the designated parking area only, to the right of the entrance road. Do not park park or drive past the large boulders at the trailhead.
Care of Park - Help keep our park clean--carry out your trash, including cigarette butts.
Parties - Large parties at the park are discouraged. However, if you want to bring a group of people to the park, have them gather first at your home, then arrive together at the park. Try to carpool to the park to keep the number of vehicles to a minimum. Make sure your guests are aware of and follow the rules of the park. Please respect the other people who are enjoying the park. Do not prop the gate open or hide a key near the gate for your guests. Do not set up tents/canopies that block access by others or leave tents/canopies unattended.
Pets - Keep dogs on a leash at all times. Carry out all pet waste.
Private Property - Stay within the confines of the park. All property adjacent to the park, including the ranch to the east side and across the river, is private property. Do not enter private property without permission of its owners.

Remember these important "NOs":
No staking out claims on space or leaving tents, canopies, or belongings overnight. Do not block main swimming area. Do not leave any personal belongings at the park.
No 4-wheel or other motorized vehicles on park trails or outside the designated parking area.
No Open fires. Completely extinguish all contained fires before you leave. A contained fire is one in a grill. No rock-encircled fires are allowed. Do not build fires right above the river or throw charcoal in the river.
Absolutely NO FIRES during Burn Bans.
No Underage drinking.
No Glass containers.
No Trout lines; pole fishing only.
No Firearms - including no pellet or BB guns.
No Loud music.
No Overnight camping.
No Abusive language, nudity, or other inappropriate or inebriated behavior.
